Sisters<\/em>&nbsp;star recently announced that she has lost a total of 500 pounds since beginning her transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an inspiring TikTok video posted on August 17th, set to Andra Day\u2019s empowering song \u201cRise Up,\u201d Tammy proudly highlights her progress alongside six other \u201cweight loss warriors.\u201d The video showcases each person\u2019s weight loss, revealing that together, they have shed an astounding 2,078 pounds. Tammy expressed her admiration and gratitude in the caption, writing, \u201cTruly absolutely amazing ladies, and I\u2019m happy to call y\u2019all all my friends. I\u2019m so proud of each and every one of y\u2019all. Not only are you beautiful on the inside, but you\u2019re gorgeous on the outside. Never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mardinolay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/sdofhsodf.avif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3019\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tammy, who stars alongside her sister Amy Slaton Halterman in the TLC series&nbsp;<em>1000-Lb. Sisters<\/em>, has been open about her health struggles since the show premiered in January 2020. After undergoing bariatric surgery in July 2022 and spending 14 months in a weight loss rehab center, Tammy has been dedicated to sharing her journey both on social media and on TV. By December 2023, she had lost 48 pounds, adding to her impressive overall weight loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the physical transformation, Tammy has also spoken about the positive impact her journey has had on her mental health. In a February TikTok video, she shared, \u201cBefore I went to rehab, I was just bitter, unhappy, and very suicidal depressed. I personally have seen a lot of growth within myself and how I treat people and my family. And just my attitude and how happy I seem. I smile a lot more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tammy has celebrated many other achievements along the way. She recounted the joy of experiencing things she once thought impossible, saying, \u201cI actually got on rides [at Disney World.] And I rode in a hot air balloon. I value life now, where before I hated it. On July 1st, Tammy mourned the loss of her husband, Caleb Willingham, posting on Instagram, \u201cRip, sweet angel, you will forever be missed and loved so much.
