“While my mom was slowly declining, one of my aunts had the nerve to ask for my mom’s contacts to help her find a new home,” the woman recalled. Her mother had run a real estate business. “They were shameless.”

Sadly, her mother passed away.

When it came time to read the will, the woman remembered the scene vividly. In a room that could have been straight out of a Hallmark movie, her brother, aunts, and her mother’s lawyer were all gathered.

“As the lawyer revealed the contents of the will, I sipped weak tea from a chipped teacup. My mom had saved around $5 million, and she left it all to my brother and aunts. I was stunned. I didn’t get anything. Not a single thing,” she wrote.
